Preorder Cancelled

Hi all! 

I have disappointing news. Due to cruddy, persistent health issues for the last 6 months, I have to cancel the preorder for The Haunting of Dark Water. If you preordered it, you won’t be charged and your order will be cancelled automatically, so there’s nothing you need to do.

This sucks. I’m really upset about it. I feel like I let myself down, but more importantly, I didn’t meet expectations I gave all of you. I’m so sorry for that.

When I sit back and try and look at things without that disappointment, I know I’d feel worse giving you a book I wasn’t happy with. Right now, the best thing I can do for me, for my writing partnership with Sam, and for all the books I can’t wait to write, is to focus on my health and recovery without expectations and hard deadlines looming. I hope that pushing this book’s release back will give me the time and space I need to get back on my feet so I can meet the rest of the year head on.

I’m still working on The Haunting of Dark Water, and I’ll give you an update as soon as I have something concrete. I love this book and want to make sure I do it justice when it goes out into the world.
